How can Republicans say they are against wealth redistribution while supporting tax rebates to corporations?
Whatever asked:
Thats redistribution of wealth in reverse, what kind of hypocritical sociopathic thinking is this?

They are against redistribution… They worked hard for the last 28 years to steal it from the masses now they don’t wanna give it back.

I’ll try to make this simple for you:
Tax rebates to corporations are a good thing because it makes the company strong, which if you actually work would mean more job security for you.
Wealth distribution takes money out of your paycheck to go toward those who choose not to work and live off the government.

Wealth has been redistributed in the country FROM the poor and middle classes TO the wealthy for the last 28 years. They actually think it’s their money.

Corporations are not people they don’t have wealth. They create wealth for the people that work for them!! I don’t think Corp. should pay any taxes because the reality is they just pass that cost on to the consumers of the products they make.

Giving tax rebates to business creates jobs. Is that so hard to understand?
Raising taxes hurts jobs.
Your man will raise your taxes, regardless of what he is promising.

If the tax laws were fair to begin with, we wouldn’t have to give corporations tax “breaks”.
And the majority of people agreeing to higher taxes, don’t pay any now. So, they are voting for their own free lunch.
If you think the companies and the rich are going to stick around while we fight over minimum wage jobs and up their taxes, then I have a mansion to sell you on an ARM.

No, its not. Taxes are part of the cost of doing business. When taxes to a company go up, they pass that cost onto the people buying from them (you and me). So as corporate taxes increase, we are the ones who really pay for those taxes.
The goverment also uses tax rebates to encourage behavior. We live in a society where the public and private sector are separate, meaning the government doesn’t tell business how to do business. If the government want a business to behave a certain way, it provides rewards in the form of rebates.
Make no mistake: punishing companies by raising their taxes only punishes us as consumers. We pay that tax through the prices we pay for goods and services, The company doesn’t.

Excuse me it is YOUR money Obama is going to redistribute, just like Joe the plumbers money, and the H*ll with the American dream
Get a reality check….

McCain won by a long shot
And HE made it clear that abortion is a STATE issue
He won on school vouchers.
He won on the economy
Obama Lied again
Obama wants everyone working for BIG government with “federal Health Insurance” anyone who believes that their care would equal that of a Senator need a reality check
Joe the plumber knows that Obama is against the AMerican Dream and is for BIG government
BIG Government equals wasteful spending, even states do not get back from the federal government what they put in
The whole system is a waist,
You think pushing paper for no reason has no waist THINK AGAIN.
Obama is the common worker’s rip off artist and you really need to do more research on government waist.

I just saw two of the smartest answers I have ever seen here.
One person suggested there shouldn’t be corporate taxes at all and the other said much the same.
I agree and by way of example…
What happened when the price of crude oil started to climb? Did Exxon bite the bullet and keep prices at the pump low?
Nope, passed it on to the consumer. Which is exactly what will happen with every penny in new taxes. You and I will pay those taxes.
Why is it that liberals can’t seem to realize that they only hurt the little guy in the long run with their chicken in every pot schemes?
Liberals came up with the idea of allowing underfunded people to buy houses. Now look where the housing market is.
Wealth
it does not matter whether the rich oppose wealth redistribution or not. without a strong middle class with money for them to pump back into the system to buy from the companies that rich people own, portfolios of us all will be redistributed downward. included in this downward spiral will be an inconvenient reality of even worse service to support the rich. so, the rich are full hearty to mount such fierce opposition to them pulling a bigger wagon than the rest of us. the rich will reap huge benefits from a strong economy where the middle class prospers.
