Case and Point: Spain in the 1500s.

Spain was the richest nation on the planet from all the Gold it discovered in the new world. That Saudis ain’t got nothing on Spain in the 1500s..

The negative impact? Well what happens when a family is so rich, they can buy anything they want? Well when their children grow up in that environment, they have no interest in working or bettering themselves because everything has been handed to them. This is what happen to Spain. Why bust your butt learning Science when you can buy the best Cannons, Armor, Forts, Ships, etc??? We’ll eventually it will make your country dependent on foreign countries because nobody in your nation has the know-how to do it.

Some feel this is happening to the United States.

Here are 3 I can come out with…

1) Youth become lazy ( why bother study when you can dig out your parents wealth)

2) People will have too much spending power ( more spending = more demand for product = more demand for depleting resource )

3) The amount of materialistic person (no offense) will increase and they will dwell with their riches..

The 3 are only quick assumption of the problem that might come from a country with too much wealth. Hope this is helpful…

Too much wealth is never a problem. Problems may exist where there is a large disparity between wealthy and poor, but just having too much wealth is not an issue.
