How will we stop the massive redistribution of wealth of the past 8 years?

sergbelxx asked:

you know the one that has not only taken wealth from the middle class and trickled it upwards to the richest americans and big corporations, but has also brought our country to its knees economically and causing millions of working americans to fall further and further behind with each day they work.

Nobody forced people to buy the junk that they did, they spent their money voluntarily on houses they could not afford. I will not be forced now support those people. I don’t have to worry about it, I already have a way around forced socialism, hopefully everyone on here does too. Those people CHOSE to throw their money away, I work and SAVE money. Do you think I am going to give it it morons?

Redistribution of wealth is not the issue you speak of. There is an infinite amount of wealth in the world, the fact that some are better at getting it than others is not evil or wrong. If obama came to your with a gun to get money for your neighbor it would be wrong. Doing it through the tax code is just as wrong.

Lowering tax rates on the 1% that pay most of the taxes increases tax revenue to the govt, lowers the unemployment rate and gives more incentive to succeed. One persons success does not mean someone else loses. Everyone has the same opportunities, just not the same drive.

    THANK you!

I, too, consider the concentration of everyone’s money into the hands of a few to be “redistribution of wealth” — after all, who does 99.9% of the work? Those who don’t get paid a living wage!

I do have a quibble, however, The wealth isn’t “trickling” up, it POURING up — flying out of our pockets at an alarming rate, right into the pockets of those who already own nearly everything.

It’s actually been going on longer than 8 years, nearer 30 years.

As to your question, vote for Obama, and give him a Democratic Congress so he can actually accomplish things.

(It’s amazing to hear McCain suddenly disapprove of one party having too much power; we NEED that much power to start to undo some of the damage done by HIS party having all the power such a long time. The last time the Democrats ruled, we had a thriving middle class, and a government that served the needs of all the citizens, not just the rich.)
