If you spread all the wealth around and everyone has a share?
Lemoned asked:
Who will be making the wealth to go around to sustain everyone in the future?
I would like to know how it is possible.
Nonpartisan question, and no rants please. Thanks in advance.

If everyone has a share and continues to have a share it would not be an issue.

Its not sharing the wealth its sharing the burden of an enormous deficit. Who is better able to handle that burden… the poor? Yeah that’ll pay off the national debt won’t it.

They won’t be able to sustain everyone in the future, in my opinion. All the wealthy ambitious people won’t want to spread their money and will move to somewhere where they won’t be forced to.
And no one will have an incentive to go to college and get a better job if we’re all receiving a cut of someone else’s prize, Lord knows I don’t want to work a long week just to give half my check to someone who isn’t working. I hope this isn’t a rant. =)

It is so frustrating to read comments about economic policies from people who have no clue what they are talking about!
Obama has NOT advocated equalization of income with this soundbite of “spread the wealth around” - he is talking about proportional taxation! That is a FAIR and RESPONSIBLE implementation of how a country is funded in order to provide appropriate services and protection for its citizens.
This whole “socialist” smoke screen thrown up by the GOP is ridiculous. Socialism means that all businesses, banks and methods of production are owned & controlled by the government. A responsible government (and a Christian ethic) is too look after the “least of these” and “to those whom much us given than much is expected.”
Looks like “compassionate conservatism” is truly an oxymoron!
