I for one have written to my evil-representative (yep, Pelosi) every day… interestingly, i have YET to get a reply.

I giggle at those who WHINE: “well, the Republicans didn’t do anything either !!” Stop blaming the parties and force YOUR Representative / Senators to act for the good of the NATION, not their party. THEY ALL were silent during the 80’s and 90’s regarding SUV’s, mileage, and power-generation.

Democrats in California have blocked or attempted to block EVERY attempt to build new power sources since the 1970’s. EVEN the wind-farms out over the Altamont Pass were in jeopardy because liberals were afraid it might scare the birds or cattle.

We need nuclear power-plants, more wind, more solar, and we need to KICK the US auto industry in the back-side with our pocket-books.

Wij zijn er niet. Slechts een derde van de Amerikaanse olie komt uit de ME, de meeste is afkomstig uit Mexico en Canada. Het is dezelfde prijs om een of andere reden, en dat is geen reden Pelosi. Het is hebzucht. Spreken van ME banden, check out The Carlyle Group, en haar banden met Saudi-Arabië en de Bush familie.

U bent niets meer dan een assistent. De Republikeinen hadden decennia om alle olie-en nog steeds de oliemaatschappijen hebben ruim 64 miljoen hectare gehuurd kunnen zij gaan na. Maar ze zien de sukkels die bereid zijn te verkopen alles om hun Hummer draaien zodat ze zou ook hoer van het land naar de oliemaatschappijen. Stop met zeuren, en laten we investeren in leefbare lange termijn oplossingen.

Debido a que el amor para luchar contra las guerras por el petróleo, pagar a nuestros enemigos para el petróleo, el pago de 4,00 por galón de petróleo. Me convirtió en un demócrata en la década de los 90, porque se lucha contra las guerras por el petróleo. Ahora el DEMs quiere seguir luchando para que los representantes y no lo hacen. hmmm…..I didn’t see your Republican buddies sticking around to protest, or even grab a soapbox to bash the Democrats….they, like the Democrats, high-tailed it out of Congress when the session was over.

It is sad you blame one member of Congress instead of the whole group.

P.S. I see that GWB didn’t bring up off shore drilling when he had a Republican-led Congress for SEVEN YEARS!
